Three Little Pigs Bar-B-Q

A Loeb's-lineage pit serving one sandwich for 50 years
Three Little Pigs Bar-B-Q is a barbecue restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee.
Three Little Pigs Bar-B-Q opened as a Loeb's pit in 1968 and has held the corner of Quince and White Station ever since, making it one of the last surviving links to that formative Memphis barbecue chain. It is classic mustard-slaw, chopped-pork-sandwich territory, a true neighborhood institution rather than a tourist stop.
The signature is the chopped pork sandwich, hand-chopped shoulder crowned with a tangy mustard-based slaw that sets it apart from the mayo-slaw crowd. Ribs come off the pit dry-rubbed, and sides like slow BBQ beans and slaw round out the plate. New owners took over in 2022 and kept the recipes and counter-service rhythm intact, which is why the sandwich still tastes like it did half a century ago. This is East Memphis history you can still order at lunch.
